To operate the outriggers on the BIL-JAX 4527A Articulating Boom Lift, follow these steps:
1. Access the ground control station by opening the control panel access cover on the turntable and turning the key switch to the ground controls setting.
2. The ground control station includes outrigger controls. For automatic outrigger extension/retraction, select the EXTEND or RETRACT outrigger button and the AUTO LEVEL button at the same time. To manually extend or retract the outriggers, select the EXTEND or RETRACT outrigger button and one of the OUTRIGGER buttons at the same time.
3. The outrigger indicator LEDs will light up when the outriggers are properly deployed and the boom weight is on the outriggers. Each outer outrigger LED indicates load on the outrigger footpad, while each inner outrigger LED, when flashing, indicates that side is low and needs to be further raised for leveling.
4. The Auto Level LED will light up and a buzzer will sound when the boom is level.
