To connect the Okidata C8800N printer to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer is powered on and running the appropriate operating system compatible with the printer.
2. Locate the USB cable that came with the printer. This cable is used to establish a connection between the printer and your computer.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the Okidata C8800N printer.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer. Make sure to insert the cable securely into both the printer and the computer.
5. Once the USB connection is established, the computer should automatically detect the printer. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to install any necessary drivers or software for the printer.
6. Refer to the Okidata C8800N User's Guide for additional setup instructions and troubleshooting tips, if needed.
Note: If you prefer to use network connectivity instead of USB, the Okidata C8800N also supports Ethernet connectivity. In this case, you would need to connect the printer to your office network using an Ethernet cable and configure the network settings accordingly.
