To adjust the hanging height of the chandelier, you will need to determine the correct number of chain links needed for the desired height. Use a pair of pliers to open and remove any excess chain if necessary. Attach one quick-connect link to each end of the chain and use another quick-connect link to attach the chain to the hanging ring. Feed the fixture wires up through the chain, pulling them until taut. Slide the canopy loop ring and canopy onto the chain/wire and thread the wires through the canopy loop. Use the remaining quick-connect link to attach the chain to the canopy loop. To shorten the fixture, trim the wires to the desired length, leaving at least 8 to 10 inches of wire in addition to the desired length.
