To lock the lid of the Elite Gourmet MST-5240SS Slow Cooker, follow these steps:
1. Place the lid on the stoneware crock.
2. Flip the latch around to the top of the lid.
3. Push the latch down to securely lock it in place.
4. Repeat these steps on the other side of the lid.
To unlock the lid, simply flip the latch up and around to loosen the wire clip. Clear the wire clip from the clip hook on both sides of the lid. The wire should remain in the latch base when the unit is unlocked.
