To adjust the darkness level of the toast, use the light/dark selector located on the toaster. The light/dark selector has numbers 1-6, with a higher number indicating a darker toast color. Simply turn the light/dark selector to your desired position before starting the toasting cycle. Experiment with different settings to achieve your preferred level of toast darkness.
