To connect the Canon LBP6030B Mono Laser Printer to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the printer and your computer are both powered on.
2. Locate the USB cable that came with the printer.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the printer.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
5. Wait for your computer to detect the printer. It may automatically install the necessary drivers, or you may need to install them manually.
6. If prompted, insert the provided CD-ROM into your computer's CD/DVD drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer drivers.
7. Once the drivers are installed, your computer should recognize the printer, and you can begin printing.
