To clean the KRUPS KM207D50 Brew Coffee Maker, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket outlet and allow it to completely cool down.
2. Dispose of the used coffee grounds by emptying the permanent filter or discarding the paper filter from the filter holder.
3. Wash the permanent filter, filter holder, travel mug, travel mug lid, carafe, carafe lid, and pour-over filter holder with warm water and dish soap. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
4. Clean the coffee maker itself with a cloth or damp sponge. Do not clean the appliance when it is still hot.
5. Descaling is recommended every 20 uses. You can use a descaling agent diluted in water or commercially available white vinegar. Pour the descaling solution into the water tank and turn on the coffee maker (without coffee). Allow the solution to brew through, then turn off the brewer and let it sit for one hour. Restart the coffee maker to stop the flow and run it two or three times with water to rinse.
Note: The guarantee excludes coffee makers that are not working or not working properly due to lack of descaling.
