To install the Ecosense L30 TROV Slim luminaire, follow these steps:
1. Read the safety instructions provided in the manual before operating the luminaire. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician install the fixture to ensure compliance with national and local safety standards.
2. Unpack the fixtures from the outer carton. The mounting clips will be in a separate bag.
3. Plan the installation by verifying the electrical plan and determining the maximum run per power input.
4. Select the mounting option that best suits your mounting surface and installation application.
5. If you choose the optional mounting track, you will need to order the 48" mounting track (L30-A-MNT-TRK-48) and a pack of 2 mounting clips (L30-A-MNT-ADJ) for every 48" of track. The mounting track and clips are required for inverted applications.
6. If you want to use frosted lenses, you can attach optional snap-on frosted lenses (L30-A-FRLS-12 for 12" and L30-A-FRLS-48 for 48") to each fixture after they are installed.
7. Connect the fixtures and power by attaching the leader cable to the first fixture in the run using the connectors on the cable and fixture. Connect the other end of the leader cable to the building power supply.
8. Continue connecting fixtures end to end until the run is finished or the maximum run length is reached. You can also use jumper cables (not included in maximum run length calculations) to connect fixtures in between.
9. Attach the terminator cap to the last fixture in the run.
10. If local electrical codes do not allow flexible cords, you can use the optional wire box (L30-A-WIREBOX) instead of a leader cable.
