To change the temperature unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit on the IR 40725 Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the thermometer is showing the "HOLD" display.
2. Press the SET button (8) repeatedly until the temperature unit setting is displayed.
3. Use the Up or Down buttons (7, 9) to toggle between °C and °F.
4. Once the desired temperature unit is selected, press the SET button (8) or wait for 10 seconds to exit the setting mode.
