To clean and descale the INVENTUM HW817D Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Regularly wipe the outside of the kettle with a moist cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaning agents.
2. To descale the kettle, you can use a suitable descaling agent for water cookers/coffee machines. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling agent.
3. Alternatively, you can descale the kettle using lemon juice. Fill half of the kettle with hot water and add the juice of half a lemon. Boil the water and then allow it to cool down for 30 minutes. Discard the boiled water and rinse the kettle thoroughly.
4. Never submerge the kettle or the connection base in water or other liquids.
5. To clean the anti-scale filter, remove the kettle from the connection base and allow it to cool down. Do not remove the filter if it is still hot or filled with water. Pull the filter loose towards the rear, away from the spout, and clean it with hot water. Make sure to properly attach the filter back to the spout before using the kettle again.
