To assemble the Metabo SPA 1200 Chip and Dust Extraction Unit, follow these steps:
1. Place the fan housing with the motor facing down on a stable workbench.
2. Loosen the hexagon nuts and washers on both sides of the ventilator housing.
3. Mount the two plates on the bolts and guide the side panels over the bolts.
4. Fit all washers and re-tighten all nuts on the ventilator housing.
5. Install the cross plate between the side panels using carriage bolts and hex flange nuts.
6. xxxx one castor to each corner of the bottom panel and secure them with hex nuts.
7. xxxx the earthing chain into the bottom panel and secure it with a hex flange nut.
8. Place the prepared bottom panel on the side panels and secure it with carriage bolts and hex flange nuts.
9. Check all screws and nuts for tightness and place the machine with the castors on the floor.
10. Put the hose clamp on one end of the suction hose, then push the hose onto the suction port below the motor and tighten the hose clamp.
11. Clamp the dust collection bag under the fan opening and tighten it with the tightening strap.
12. Insert the rod into the two holes on the edge of the upper dust bag opening.
13. Thread the clamp ring through the guide sewn into the dust bag and fit the dust bag over the dust bag opening.
14. Tighten the clamp ring.
