To enable or disable the boost converter, you can use the EN pin. When the EN pin is set to a logic-high voltage (above the threshold), the boost converter starts operating. Conversely, when the EN pin is set to a logic-low voltage, the boost converter is shut down. In shutdown mode, the converter stops switching, and the internal control circuitry is turned off. It's important to note that the output voltage may drop below the input voltage during shutdown. To ensure proper operation, do not let the EN pin float (unconnected) and provide a stable logic-high or logic-low voltage to control the enable/disable state of the boost converter.
