To activate the Smart Clean function on your Whirlpool oven, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that the oven has cooled down before starting the cleaning process.
2. Press the "CLEANING" button on the control panel.
3. Use the navigation buttons (+/-) to scroll through the menu options and select "SMART CLEAN".
4. Press the "CONFIRM" button to activate the Smart Clean function.
5. The display will prompt you to follow the actions needed to obtain the best cleaning results. Follow the instructions on the display.
6. Once you have completed all the necessary steps, the display will prompt you to press the "CONFIRM" button to start the cleaning cycle.
7. The oven will automatically begin the Smart Clean cycle, which uses steam to remove dirt and food residues.
8. After the cleaning cycle is complete, an appropriate message will appear on the display.
9. Leave the oven to cool down, and then wipe and dry the interior surfaces with a cloth or sponge.
Please note that it is recommended not to open the oven door during the cleaning cycle to avoid a loss of water vapor that could affect the final cleaning result.
