To connect your NETGEAR EX2700 N300 WiFi Range Extender to your existing WiFi network, you have two options: installation with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) or installation without WPS.
1. Installation with WPS:
- Make sure your router supports WPS. Look for the WPS symbol on your router.
- Press the WPS button on the side panel of the WiFi adapter. The WPS LED will start blinking.
- Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your router or access point.
- When the WiFi adapter connects to your existing WiFi network, the WPS LED on the WiFi adapter will light solid green and the Router Link LED will also light up.
- If the Router Link LED does not light up, try the installation without WPS method.
2. Installation without WPS:
- On your computer, access the list of available WiFi connections and connect to "NETGEAR_EXT". Once connected, the Device Link LED on the WiFi adapter will light up.
- Launch a web browser and go to http://www.mywifiext.net.
- Click the "New Extender Setup" button to start the setup process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your login credentials, select your WiFi network, enter the WiFi password, and choose a name for your WiFi Adapter network.
- Verify the settings and click "Continue" to complete the setup.
- You will receive a confirmation that the WiFi adapter has been successfully configured.
- Unplug the WiFi adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet close to your Office Suite phone.
- Connect the Office Suite phone to the WiFi adapter using an Ethernet cable.
