To set up the NAPIER 19 Series Truck Tent, follow these steps:
1. Select a smooth and level campsite, free of rocks and sharp objects. Avoid areas with overhead power lines and tree limbs.
2. Park your vehicle in the chosen campsite and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
3. Lay the tent flat inside the bed of the truck, ensuring the front door is at the tailgate.
4. Attach the tent side straps (3 per side) loosely to the truck's body.
5. Slide the back 3 tent tailgate straps between the truck box and the tailgate. Connect the front straps at the end of the tailgate to the corresponding back strap under the tailgate.
6. Assemble the tent poles by unfolding each section. There are three poles: black, green, and grey.
7. Insert the black poles diagonally, corner-to-corner on the roof of the tent. Repeat with the other black pole.
8. Insert the green pole front-to-back on the roof of the tent.
9. Insert the grey pole side-to-side at the front (tailgate) of the tent, ensuring it is even on both sides.
10. Insert each pole into the corresponding colored pockets in the following order: green pole (front-to-back), black poles (corner-to-corner), and grey pole (side-to-side tailgate).
11. Once the tent is fully raised, attach the pole clips to the poles.
12. If the tent straps on the side of the truck are too loose, pull them to tighten, but be careful not to make them too tight.
13. To install the gear loft, place each corner hook of the gear loft into the loop located on the ceiling of the tent.
14. Finally, drape the rainfly over the tent, ensuring the front of the rainfly with the black Backroadz tag goes over the door. Secure the rainfly strap clips to the tent (2 per side and 2 at the tailgate) and tighten if necessary. Make sure the tailgate pole is set up on the outside of the tailgate wires to prevent excessive tension.
