To adjust the position of the threaded post on the mounting bracket, follow these steps:
1. Lift the mounting bracket up to the junction box and place the canopy over the canopy loop, so that it is flush with the ceiling.
2. Determine if the position of the threaded post needs to be adjusted to allow the canopy to be flush with the ceiling.
3. If adjustment is needed, loosen the hex nut on the threaded post to allow movement.
4. Slide the canopy over the canopy loop while it is securely connected to the threaded post.
5. Adjust the position of the threaded post on the mounting bracket so that the canopy covers at least half of the exterior threads on the canopy loop while it is securely connected to the threaded post.
6. Once the ideal position of the threaded post is determined, tighten the hex nut onto the threaded post just beneath the mounting bracket to secure it in place.
Please refer to the instruction manual for visual illustrations and additional details on adjusting the threaded post position.
