To adjust the suction power on the KARCHER VC 5 Upright Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Locate the suction control on the handle of the vacuum cleaner.
2. Slide the suction control to the desired level:
- Level 1 and 2: Low suction range for vacuuming sensitive materials and light components, such as upholstered furniture, rugs, cushions, curtains, etc.
- Level 3: Medium suction range for daily vacuuming of lightly soiled surfaces and for cleaning low-pile carpets.
- Level 4: High suction range for vacuuming durable floor coverings, hard floors, high-pile carpets, and heavily soiled surfaces.
Note: The device will shut down automatically if there is a risk of overheating. Turn off the device and unplug it from the power source. Check for any clogs in the nozzle and suction pipe, and ensure the filter does not need changing. After resolving the issue, allow the device to cool down for at least 1 hour before using it again.
