To descale the cecotec Fast and Furious 9040 Absolute Powerful Steam Station, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the device and unplug it from the power supply. Allow the machine to cool down to room temperature.
2. Remove the water tank from the main body and turn the water valve by hand to drain any remaining water in the machine.
3. Mix 15g of descaling product (or white vinegar) with 1L of water. Pour the mixture into the machine through the drain valve port. Tighten the drain valve and shake the machine 3-5 times.
4. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours (or longer if there is more scale, but not exceeding 8 hours).
5. Pour the mixed liquid out of the drain valve. Fill the drain valve port with clear water and then pour the water out through the drain valve port. Repeat this process until the residual scale and organic acid smell disappear.
6. Rinse the machine well with clean water.
After completing the descaling process, the descaling indicator will blink. Press and hold the main switch for five seconds to turn off the indicator.
Note: It is recommended to descale the steam station after it has been used for a period of time or when the descaling indicator light turns on. Always follow the instructions provided in the manual and use the recommended descaling product or white vinegar for optimal results.
