To install and set up the Door Locks FG01 Retro Bluetooth Door Lock, please follow the steps below:
1. Install the lock correctly on your door. Make sure to refer to the installation instructions provided in the manual for either a left open door or a right open door.
2. Power the gateway that comes with the lock.
3. Download and login to the TuyaSmart app on your smartphone.
4. Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
5. On the TuyaSmart Home Page, press the "Add Device" button or wait for the addable device to show.
6. Add the lock by following the on-screen instructions.
7. Set the lock by accessing the Smart Lock Page in the app.
8. Set a password by pressing the "#" button and entering a 6-digit code. Remember to give the password a name.
9. Share the permission with others by accessing the Member Management Page and sharing your permission.
The Door Locks FG01 Retro Bluetooth Door Lock supports various unlock ways, including using a key, turning the xxxx , entering a keypad password followed by "#", using the TuyaSmart app, and optional methods like using the Alexa app or voice commands with a Bluetooth gateway and Amazon voice device.
Additionally, the lock can be locked using a key, turning the xxxx , or by long-pressing "#" on the keypad. There is also an optional auto lock feature that can be set in the lock's set page, but it won't work when the lock is unlocked by key or xxxx .
The lock can be used in different usage scenarios, such as unlocking with a password, Bluetooth app, or physical key when entering the door, long-pressing "#" or using the remote app to lock when going out, and various unlock methods when someone else comes or needs a single unlock.
If you are the landlord or want to share permission, you can manage members through the app and add them.
If you no longer use the lock and want others to use it, you can remove the device by pressing and holding on the main page of the app.
Please note that there are some warnings and FCC cautions mentioned in the manual. It is important to read and follow these instructions to ensure proper usage and compliance with regulations.
We recommend using your own account to add the device for safety reasons. Once the device is bound to an account, it cannot be unbound unless you remove it from the app. If multiple users need to access the device, you can share permissions through the member management in the device settings.
