To install the batteries in the remote for your Philips 5 Series Roku TV, follow these steps:
1. Firmly slide down the battery cover on the remote.
2. Insert 2 AAA (1.5 V) batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to match the polarity indicated inside.
3. Close the battery cover.
