To connect the GoldenEar Technology Triton Three Floorstanding Loudspeakers to your amplifier or receiver, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of connection you will be using. The Triton Three speakers have speaker level (high level) 5-way binding posts and an LFE input.
2. If you are using speaker wire only, connect the red(+) terminal of your amplifier or receiver to the red(+) terminal of the left loudspeaker, and the black(-) terminal of your amplifier or receiver to the black(-) terminal of the left loudspeaker. Repeat this process for the right loudspeaker.
3. If you are using the LFE input, use a "Y" connector to connect the Sub/LFE output on your receiver or processor to the LFE input on both the left and right Triton Three speakers.
4. Set your receiver or processor's speaker setup menu to indicate "Large" for the left and right main speakers and "No" for the subwoofer if you are using speaker wire only. If you are using the LFE input, set the subwoofer to "Yes".
5. Make sure all connections are secure and double-check the polarity (ensure the red(+) and black(-) terminals are correctly matched).
6. Power on your amplifier or receiver and the Triton Three speakers.
7. Adjust the low-frequency level control on each Triton Three speaker to match your room and personal listening preferences. Start with the control set at the 12 o'clock position and make adjustments as needed.
8. Perform any necessary channel balancing and bass management settings on your receiver or processor according to its setup menu.
