To assemble and install the BOSCH F016800620 Cordless Rain Water Pump, follow these steps:
1. Fastening the Wall Attachment/Water Tank Attachment: If you are using the wall attachment, fasten it next to the water tank. If wall mounting is not possible, use the provided water tank attachment and attach it directly to the rim of the water tank.
2. Inserting/Removing the Battery Control Unit: For wall attachment, take out the securing xxxx from the attachment, attach the battery control unit from above into the wall attachment, and secure it at the bottom with the clip and securing xxxx . For water tank attachment, simply clip the battery control unit on the attachment.
3. Determining the required length of cable and connecting hose: Measure the height and diameter of the water tank, as well as the distance from the rim of the tank to the battery control box. Calculate the length of the cable and connecting hose based on these measurements.
4. Wrapping the cable and cutting the connecting hose: Wrap the excess cable around the pump and secure it using the provided cable clamp. Cut the connecting hose to the calculated length and re-attach the anti-siphon connector on the remaining connecting hose.
5. Connecting the hose and cable: Align the 2-pin plug connector on the power cable with the junction point on the battery control unit and insert it firmly. xxxx the union nut onto the connection to secure the plug and prevent water from entering. Attach the universal connector on the connecting hose to the hose connection on the pump.
6. Placing the pump into the tank and connecting a garden hose: Lower the pump into the tank with the connecting hose attached. Place the hose guide on the rim of the water tank and ensure that the pump is in the correct position. Attach a garden hose with a standard hose coupling to the anti-siphon connector.
