To assemble the chain bar and chain on the Gude KS 402 P Electric Chain Saw, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the machine is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Locate the chain bar and chain in the delivered items.
3. Remove the chain cover by loosening the screws or fasteners holding it in place.
4. Place the chain bar onto the saw body, aligning the guide bar slot with the drive wheel.
5. Slide the chain onto the guide bar, making sure the cutting teeth are facing forward.
6. Adjust the tension of the chain by using the chain tensioning mechanism. Refer to the manual for specific instructions on how to adjust the chain tension.
7. Once the chain is properly tensioned, replace the chain cover and tighten the screws or fasteners to secure it in place.
8. Check the chain tension again and make any necessary adjustments before starting the machine.
