The Jabra Elite 7 Pro Gold Beige True Wireless Earbuds are primarily designed for use with mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. However, it is possible to connect them to a computer or softphone client with some limitations.
To connect your Jabra Bluetooth device to a computer or unsupported device, it must support the Hands Free (HFP) or Headset (HSP) Bluetooth profile, as well as the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) Bluetooth profile. Please ensure that your computer meets these requirements.
When pairing your Jabra Bluetooth device with a computer, follow the same pairing steps as you would with a mobile device. Make sure that the Bluetooth connection is active on your computer and remove any previous pairings before re-pairing.
If you encounter any challenges when connected to a computer or softphone client, try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check that the Bluetooth connection is active on your computer.
2. Remove the previous pairing and re-pair your Jabra Bluetooth device.
3. Reset your Jabra Bluetooth device.
4. Ensure that you have the latest version of the softphone client installed.
5. Make sure that your Jabra device is selected as the audio device on both your computer and the softphone client.
Please note that while you may be able to send and receive audio, the full functionality of the Jabra device may not be available when connected to a computer or softphone client. The buttons on the earbuds may not work for call controls as they would with a mobile device.
