To connect the Fujitsu iX500 Color Duplex Image Scanner to your computer, you have two options: using a USB cable or utilizing the wireless connectivity feature.
1. USB Connection:
a. Make sure your computer is powered on and the scanner is turned off.
b. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on your computer.
c. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the scanner.
d. Turn on the scanner.
e. Your computer should recognize the scanner, and you can proceed with the installation of any necessary drivers or software.
2. Wireless Connection:
a. Ensure that your computer and the scanner are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
b. On the scanner, press the Wi-Fi button to activate the wireless connection mode.
c. On your computer, open the wireless network settings and select the scanner's network name.
d. Enter the password if prompted.
