To power on the soundmaster TR420 FM Radio, you have two options:
1. Battery power: Insert 4 x 1.5V AA size batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure to insert the batteries correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Always remove the batteries when the appliance will not be used for a long period of time to prevent leakage and damage. Once the batteries are inserted, turn the "VOLUME" xxxx on the front side to the right. This will power on the unit.
2. AC power: Plug the power cord into a 230V wall outlet. Once the power cord is connected, turn the "VOLUME" xxxx on the front side to the right. This will power on the unit.
Please note that when using battery power, you need to disconnect the AC power cord from the unit.
