To install the Growatt AT-5000ES Solar Inverter, follow these steps:
1. Wall Mount Installation:
- Reserve a space of 300mm (11.8in) from the AT-5000ES.
- Place a ruler horizontally on the wall and mark the positions of 2 holes for screws.
- Remove the ruler and drill 2 holes at the marked positions using a drill with a depth of at least 40mm (1.575in).
- Knock the expansion pipe into the holes with a rubber hammer and align the AT-5000ES with the marked positions on the wall.
- xxxx the self-tapping screws into the expansion pipes.
2. Open the AT-5000ES:
- Use a screwdriver to remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the AT-5000ES.
- Pull back the bottom cover to take it out.
3. Wiring Connection:
- Prepare the necessary cables: input power cable and output power cable.
- For the input wires, use a screwdriver to remove the nut on the input terminal strip.
- Insert the red 10AWG short wire ends into the input port L and the black 10AWG short wire ends into the input port N.
- Lock the ground wire on the earth bus bar using a screwdriver.
- For the output wires, use a screwdriver to remove the nut on the output terminal strip.
- Insert the red 10AWG short wire ends into the output ports L1 and L2, and the black 10AWG short wire ends into the output port N.
- Lock the ground wire on the earth bus bar using a screwdriver.
4. Checking:
- Ensure that all wiring in the AT-5000ES is tightened.
5. Connect the AT-5000ES:
- Close the cover of the AT-5000ES.
- Connect the input end of the AT-5000ES to the output of the inverter.
- Connect the output end of the AT-5000ES to the load.
6. Troubleshooting:
- If any issues arise, turn off the inverter and open the AT-5000ES cover.
- Check the input wiring and the output wiring to ensure they are properly connected.
