Cleaning the Hoshizaki IM-65NE-25 Cube Series Self Contained Ice Machine is an important maintenance task to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to clean the machine:
1. Turn off the power to the ice machine and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove any ice cubes or water from the ice bin.
3. Mix a solution of ice machine cleaner and water according to the manufacturer's instructions. The recommended ratio is usually 16 ounces of cleaner per 1 gallon of water.
4. Pour the cleaning solution into the water reservoir of the ice machine.
5. Turn on the power to the ice machine and allow it to run for approximately 10 minutes to circulate the cleaning solution.
