To set the timer on the Russell Hobbs CM8100 8-Cup Coffeemaker, follow these steps:
1. Plug the coffeemaker into a power outlet.
2. Use the hour (hr) and minute (min) buttons to set the correct time on the display.
3. Press the "Timer" button.
4. Use the hour and minute buttons to set the time you want brewing to start. If you don't press either the hour or minute buttons within 5 seconds, the coffeemaker will revert to the current time. Press the "Timer" button again to start the programming process.
5. Once the desired brewing time is programmed, press the "Timer" button. The light above the button will come on, and the timer icon will appear on the display. Your coffeemaker is now set to make coffee at the selected time.
6. To check the programmed time, press the "Timer" button. The programmed time will be displayed for 3 seconds and then return to the current time.
7. To cancel the timer before brewing has started or to stop the coffeemaker while it's brewing, press the "Timer" button.
