To connect the Epson DS870 Document Scanner to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer is powered on and running the appropriate operating system (Windows or Mac).
2. Locate the USB cable included in the box of the DS870 scanner.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the scanner.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
5. Once the scanner is connected, power it on by pressing the power button located on the front panel of the scanner.
6. Wait for your computer to recognize the scanner. It may automatically install the necessary drivers and software.
7. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
8. Once the installation is complete, you can begin using the scanner with your preferred scanning software.
