To install the Blackmagic OS on the Blackmagic Design 6K Pro Pocket Cinema Camera, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that you have the Blackmagic OS Installation and Operation Manual, which should be included in the box with your camera.
2. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided power supply.
3. Insert the SD UHS-II card (if included) into the camera's SD card slot.
4. Power on the camera by pressing the power button.
5. Once the camera is powered on, navigate to the Setup menu on the camera's LCD touchscreen.
6. In the Setup menu, select the "Software" option.
7. In the Software menu, select the "Update Camera" option.
8. The camera will prompt you to confirm the update. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the update.
9. The camera will begin the update process, which may take a few minutes. Do not power off the camera or remove the SD card during the update.
10. Once the update is complete, the camera will automatically restart with the new Blackmagic OS installed.
Note: It is recommended to fully charge the LP-E6 battery or use an external power source during the update process to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
