To connect the AVMATRIX SDI to USB3.1 Gen 1 Video Capture to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your computer is powered on and running the compatible operating system (Windows 7/8/10, Linux, or macOS).
2. Connect one end of the provided USB3.0 A-C cable to the USB3.0 Type C output port on the AVMATRIX device.
3. Connect the other end of the USB3.0 A-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
4. If you want to capture video and audio from an SDI source, connect the SDI cable from your SDI source to the SDI input port on the AVMATRIX device. If you want to capture video and audio from an HDMI source, connect the HDMI cable from your HDMI source to the HDMI input port on the AVMATRIX device.
5. If you want to capture audio from an external source, connect a 3.5mm stereo audio cable from the audio source to the line-in port on the AVMATRIX device.
6. Once all the connections are made, the AVMATRIX device will automatically detect the input signal and start capturing video and audio.
7. You can use compatible software applications such as OBS Studio, Skype, ZOOM, Teams, Google Meet, etc., to access and utilize the captured video and audio.
Note: If both SDI and HDMI cables are connected, the SDI input signal will take priority. If both SDI/HDMI IN and AUDIO IN cables are connected, the external audio input will take priority.
