To connect the AVGEAR CE-CVHH-H2 HDMI Signal Manager, follow these steps:
1. Identify the HDMI input and output ports on the signal manager. The input port is labeled "IN" and the output port is labeled "OUT."
2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI output port of your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console) and the other end to the HDMI input port labeled "IN" on the signal manager.
3. Connect another HDMI cable to the HDMI output port labeled "OUT" on the signal manager and the other end to the HDMI input port of your display device (e.g., TV, monitor).
4. If you need to downscale the 4K signal to 1080p, ensure that the "4K→1080p" switch on the signal manager is set to "ON." If you want to pass-through the signal without downscaling, set the switch to "OFF."
5. If the HDMI source device does not provide sufficient power to the signal manager, you can connect the included Micro-USB cable to the "DC 5V" port on the signal manager and the other end to a power source, such as a USB port on your TV or a USB power adapter.
6. Once all the connections are made, power on your HDMI source device, display device, and the signal manager. The power LED on the signal manager should illuminate green.
