To set up your Fire TV 6575 QLED Series Omni Smart Display, follow these steps:
1. Before using your new product, read the user guide for instructions and reference.
2. Ensure that all other devices are connected before plugging the power cord into the wall.
3. Start by getting your TV out of the box. It is recommended to have two people for this step.
4. Remove legs, remote, documents, and any other accessories from the upper styrofoam tray.
5. Keep the TV in its plastic bag and place it face down on a large, flat surface like a table or countertop.
6. Before disposing of the packaging, make sure you have removed all parts and accessories.
7. Attach the double-legged support base to the TV using the included screws. The legs are interchangeable and can be installed on either side.
8. If you prefer to wall mount your TV, ensure you follow the instructions provided with the wall mount (sold separately). Make sure the wall can support the weight of the TV and follow all safety precautions.
9. Familiarize yourself with the different ports and buttons on your Fire TV Omni, such as the power button, microphone on/off switch, LED indicator, HDMI ports, Ethernet/LAN, USB, IR emitter port, audio out/headphone, optical audio output, and AC-in.
10. Alexa is designed to protect your privacy. You can control the microphones with the on/off switch and view and delete your voice recordings in the Alexa app.
11. Power on your TV by connecting the power cord to the television and then to an outlet. Connect an outside aerial to the antenna-in port if you want to receive broadcast television.
12. Use the power button or the included remote to turn on the TV. To put it into standby mode, press and hold the power button. Unplug the cord from the electrical outlet to completely power off the TV.
13. Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control. It should automatically pair with your Fire TV, but if there are issues, you may need to press down the Home button to initiate pairing.
14. Complete the on-screen setup using your Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote. Choose your language, select your wifi network, and register your device.
15. Connect your TV to the internet either wirelessly or through a wired connection. For wireless connection, select your wifi network and enter the password if required. For a wired connection, use an Ethernet cable to connect the TV to your modem or router.
16. If you need to control other devices like an AV receiver or soundbar, you can use the included IR emitter cable. Plug it into the IR emitter port on the back of your Fire TV and place it near the devices you want to control.
