To install the KASTA-S10IBH Smart Dry Contact Output Module, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the product is installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS 3000 (current edition) and other relevant Standards and Regulations.
2. Before installation, disconnect electricity to prevent any potential hazards.
3. The module is designed for indoor use only and is not suitable for damp or explosive environments.
4. The switching circuit of the module is suited for interconnection with SELV (Separated Extra-Low Voltage) circuits.
5. The module can be interconnected with Class I, Class II, or Class III equipment.
6. The module complies with Australian Standards AS/NZS 60669.2.1 with AS/NZS 60669.1, AS/NZS 60950.1, and AS/NZS CISPR 15.
7. The module features a mains powered dry contact (voltage-free relay) output, allowing for ON/OFF control of equipment such as garage doors, motorized gates, sprinkler systems, and garden lighting.
8. Connect the module using the provided 6 wires: A (Active), N (Neutral), Load (Output Load), S1 (Input Switch 1), S2 (Input Switch 2), In (Input), and Out (Output).
9. The module offers 4 output modes: 1s, 6s, and 9s pulse ON (auto OFF), and toggle ON/OFF (default setting is 1s pulse).
10. To activate the ON state, simply perform a short press or toggle on input S1 or S2.
11. The module can be paired with KASTA remote switches for multi-way control, with a maximum of 8 switches.
12. Smart functions can be accessed via the KASTA app on your phone or tablet, allowing for schedules, timers, scenes, and groups.
