To clean the Medela Calma Breast Milk Feeding Solution, follow these steps:
1. Disassemble Calma into its individual parts.
2. Rinse all parts with cold water, then clean them with warm soapy water.
3. Rinse again with cold water for 10-15 seconds.
4. Dry all parts with a clean cloth or leave them to air dry.
5. Alternatively, you can clean Calma in the dishwasher. Place the parts on the top rack or in the cutlery section.
6. Once a day, cover all parts with water and boil for 5 minutes, or use a Quick Clean Microwave Bag.
7. Dry all parts with a clean cloth or leave them to air dry.
It is important to clean the Calma immediately after each use to avoid the drying up of milk residues and prevent the growth of bacteria. Use drinking-quality water for cleaning and avoid using sharp or hard objects to clean Calma. Do not touch the inside of the parts after cleaning to avoid contamination. Store Calma in an air-permeable, clean bag/container or an air-permeable, clean paper/cloth until its next use. For hygiene reasons, it is recommended to replace Calma after 3 months.
