To install the batteries in the Uniden ADV05 Series UHF CB Transceiver, follow these steps:
1. With the back of the radio facing you, push and slide down the battery cover to remove it.
2. Install 3 AAA Alkaline batteries or 3 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries as shown on the inside of the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover and press down to secure it.
Note: The radio requires 3 AAA Alkaline batteries or 3 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries (not supplied) to operate. NiMH rechargeable batteries are recommended.
