Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to assemble the scheppach HL1020 Log Splitter:
1. Mount the wheels: Slide the wheel axle through the drilled hole on the bottom, rear end of the splitter. Insert the wheels on the wheel axle and fasten them with two splints.
2. Mount the controller handles: Insert the controller arm with the slotted hole onto the rocker switch and the drilled hole onto the threaded rod. Secure the controller arm with a washer and fasten it with a spring splint pin on the rocker switch and a self-locking nut on the threaded rod. Repeat this step for the other control arm on the other side.
3. Mount the holder arm: Insert both holder arms into the rectangular steel tubes located on the left side of the splitter. Fasten the holder arms with two M10 x 45 mm hexagon screws and self-locking nuts each.
4. Mount the holder arm for trunk lifter: Fasten the holder arm with two hexagonal screws (M10 x 25) on the frame, but do not tighten the screws tightly yet.
5. Mount the trunk lifter: Fasten the trunk lifter with a hexagon xxxx (M10 x 55) and a self-locking nut between both of the brackets located on the right, lower end of the splitter. Align the holder arm on the trunk lifter, leaving a gap of approximately 0.5 - 1 mm between the holder arm and trunk lifter.
6. Cut in the chain on the splitting blade: Attach the chain to the splitting blade.
7. Put the splitter into the work position: Connect the splitter to the mains power. Lower both controller handles until the cylinder is present above the drilled holes located in the upper position. Insert both shafts into the drilled holes and secure them with spring pins. Bring the splitting blade to the top position and remove the support.
