To configure the BTRM system to activate a relay or indicator under certain alarm conditions, follow these steps:
1. Make the necessary electrical connections for the alarm device you want to use. For example, for a door alarm, connect the adjustable pin switch and door bracket as shown in Figure 1 of the user manual.
2. Access the BTRM webpage and click on the "Port Options" tab on the left to go to the BTRM Options page.
3. Under the IO Channel being used for the alarm, set the "Digital Input Alarm if > 2V" option. This setting will activate the relay or indicator when the voltage exceeds 2V.
4. Click the "Save" radio button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
Once these steps are completed, the BTRM system will activate the relay or indicator when the specified alarm condition is met. The BTRM status home page will show the indication of the alarm, such as "on" or "off" for the digital input, and the voltage from the system load for the analog input. For example, when the door on the enclosure is opened in the case of a door alarm, the BTRM will send an alarm message to the IT network and indicate the alarm status on the BTRM system status page.
Please refer to the user manual for more information and specific wiring configurations for different alarm applications.
