To operate the LINX-LIFT TX Series Manual Hand Chain Hoist, follow these steps:
1. Before operating the hoist, make sure you have read and understood the safety rules and guidelines mentioned in the user manual.
2. Perform a daily inspection of the hoist before each use. Check the name plate to ensure all information is clear and visible. Inspect the hooks, load chain, and brake system for any wear, deformation, or damage. Ensure that the hooks rotate freely and smoothly.
3. Choose a hoist with a suitably rated capacity for the weight of the load you intend to lift. Do not lift loads beyond the rated capacity of the hoist.
4. Face the hand chain wheel side of the hoist. Pull the hand chain clockwise to raise the load and counter clockwise to lower the load. The pawl should make a clicking sound when the load is being raised, indicating normal operation.
5. Never use a twisted, kinked, damaged, or stretched load chain. Do not use the hoist chain as a sling or support. Do not support a load on the tip of the hook. Avoid running the load chain over sharp edges.
6. Never use a damaged hoist or one that is not working properly. Do not swing a suspended load. Do not use the hoist chain as a welding electrode. Do not operate the hoist so far that the bottom hook touches the hoist body or the load chain pulls the anchorage. If excessive noise occurs during operation, stop using the hoist and inspect for any issues.
7. Always pay attention and stay focused when operating the hoist. Do not allow your attention to be diverted. Lift loads that weigh at least 10% of the rated capacity of the hoist. Do not fully extend the load chain so that the end stop touches the hoist chassis.
8. After lifting, put down the load slowly and safely. Never suspend a load for an extended period of time.
9. Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the hoist. Lubricate the load chain according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Consult qualified service personnel for periodic inspections.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
