To connect your turntable to the Rega io Headphone Amplifier, you will need to use the Phono input (Input 1) on the back panel of the amplifier. This input is specifically designed for use with turntables.
1. Locate the Phono input (Input 1) on the back panel of the amplifier.
2. Connect the RCA (phono) cables from the turntable's output to the Phono input on the amplifier. The left channel should be connected to the red socket, and the right channel to the black socket.
3. If your turntable has a separate ground lead, connect it to the grounding nut located on the back panel of the amplifier. Use the nut to clamp down onto the grounding wire.
4. Ensure that the turntable and io amplifier are positioned as far away from each other as possible while still maintaining safety.
5. Once connected, you can select the Phono input on the io amplifier by pressing the small black button located next to the row of input digits. The selected input will be highlighted by the number lighting up in red.
Please refer to the Rega io Headphone Amplifier Instruction Manual for more detailed instructions and specifications.
