To clean the Panasonic ER-GB86 Beard Trimmer, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the appliance and remove the main body from the AC adaptor.
2. Depending on the level of dirt, you can choose one of the following cleaning methods:
a. With water:
- Remove the attachment and turn on the appliance.
- Run water down the water inlet at the front of the main body for about 20 seconds.
- Turn off the appliance.
b. With the brush:
- Remove the attachment and blade.
- Brush off any hair trimmings from the main body and around the blade.
- Press down the cleaning lever to raise the moving blade and brush out any hair trimmings between the stationary blade and the moving blade.
3. After cleaning, wipe off any excess water with a towel and let it dry naturally. It is recommended to remove the blade for faster drying.
4. Apply the included oil to the blade before and after each use to maintain its performance.
5. Finally, reattach the attachment and blade to the appliance.
