To install the Progress Lighting P560294 Series 6In Incandescent Square Cylinder Wall Mount, please follow these steps:

1. Before beginning installation, ensure that all parts are included as shown in the contents diagram on page 1 of the user guide. If any part is missing or damaged, do not proceed with the installation.

2. Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker panel before starting the installation to ensure safety.

3. If you are installing the fixture outdoors or in wet locations, it is important to seal the edge of the wall plate that comes in contact with the mounting surface using a latex waterproof caulking. This is necessary to prevent water from entering the outlet box and to comply with the National Electrical Code and Underwriters Laboratories requirements.

4. Attach the top cover (B) to the fixture (A).

5. Use the alien wrench (BB) to unscrew the set  xxxx  (C) and remove the mounting plate (D) from the base.

6. Attach the mounting plate (D) to the outlet box using the mounting screws supplied with the outlet box (not included).

7. Strip 3/8" of insulation from the ends of the electrical wires. Using wire nuts (AA), connect the white fixture wire to the white supply wire from the outlet box. Connect the black fixture wire to the black supply wire. Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire nut or by fastening them to the ground  xxxx  on the mounting plate.

8. Push all wire connections into the outlet box. Align the  xxxx  (E) with the hole in the mounting plate (D). Use the alien wrench (BB) to secure the fixture (A) tightly to the mounting plate (D) by tightening the set  xxxx  (C).

9. Install two incandescent lamps (F) (not included) into the up and down socket (G). Make sure to use the appropriate wattage and type of lamps as specified in the user guide.
