To install the Sensata WES Wheel End Sensor on your Hendrickson axle wheel end, please follow the steps below:
1. Locate the hub cap on your Hendrickson axle wheel end. The WES sensor is designed to mount on the hub cap.
2. Ensure that the hub cap surface is clean and free from any dirt or debris.
3. Remove the adhesive backing from the WES sensor. Align the sensor with the hub cap and firmly press it onto the surface. Make sure it is securely attached.
4. Connect the WES sensor to the air hoses and rotary union between the outer and inner tires (if present). Ensure that the connections are tight and secure.
5. Once the WES sensor is installed, it will start sensing pressure from the tires, measure internal temperature, and detect motion/vibration using the onboard accelerometer.
