To update the firmware on your UEC DSD4921RV Receiver, please follow these steps:
1. Download the firmware file 5.73(L-31) onto an 8 – 32 Gb USB stick.
2. Ensure that the power lead is disconnected from your DSD4921RV Receiver.
3. Plug the USB stick into the back of the receiver.
4. Press and hold down the P- button on the front of the satellite box.
5. While holding the P- button, plug the power lead back into the receiver.
6. Continue holding the P- button until you see the firmware download screen appear on your TV screen.
7. Once the firmware download screen appears, you can release the P- button.
8. The firmware installation process will begin automatically. Wait for it to complete.
9. After the installation is finished, the set-top box will reboot automatically.
10. You can now remove the USB stick from the receiver.
11. To verify that the new firmware has been successfully installed, press the help button twice on your remote control.
12. Check that the displayed firmware version is 5.73 (L-31), indicating that the update was successful.
