To use the HANNA HI 3831F Free Chlorine Test Kit, follow these steps:
1. Add 5 drops of Reagent 1 and 3 drops of Reagent 2 to the color comparator cube.
2. Fill the color comparator cube with the water sample up to the 5 mL mark.
3. Replace the cap on the color comparator cube and mix the solution by carefully swirling the cube in tight circles and inverting it several times.
4. Observe the color of the solution in the color comparator cube and determine which color band on the cube best matches the solution.
5. Record the results in mg/L (ppm) free chlorine.
It is important to note that no iodine or bromine should be present in the water sample for the test to work properly.
