To connect your microphone to the PYLE PYD1964B DJ Mixer, follow these steps:
1. Locate the "MIC INPUT" section on the mixer. This section typically has two inputs labeled "MIC 1" and "MIC 2."
2. Choose the appropriate input for your microphone. If your microphone has a balanced connector, use the input labeled "MIC 1." If your microphone has a 1/4" connector, use the input labeled "MIC 2."
3. Connect your microphone to the chosen input using the appropriate cable. Make sure the cable is securely plugged into both the microphone and the mixer.
4. Adjust the microphone settings. The mixer has separate knobs for adjusting the high, middle, and bass tones of the microphone. Use these knobs to fine-tune the sound of your microphone.
5. Set the microphone levels. The mixer has individual level controls for MIC 1 and MIC 2. Use these controls to adjust the volume of each microphone as they enter the mix.
6. If needed, use the MIC TALKOVER function. This function allows you to decrease the sound pressure level of other audio sources while the microphone is active. Refer to the manual for specific instructions on using this feature.
7. Use the MIC CUE function for monitoring. The MIC CUE button allows you to monitor the microphone input source. Press the button to listen to the microphone through your headphones.
