To connect the Roland FP-30X to your computer using USB, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the FP-30X and your computer are both powered off.
2. Locate the USB Type B port on the back panel of the FP-30X. This is the square-shaped USB port labeled "USB COMPUTER."
3. Connect one end of a USB Type B cable to the USB COMPUTER port on the FP-30X.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
5. Power on the FP-30X and your computer.
6. Once the FP-30X is powered on, your computer should recognize it as a MIDI device. You may need to install any necessary drivers or software provided by Roland for proper functionality. Please refer to the user manual or the Roland website for specific instructions on driver installation.
