To clean the deep fat fryer, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the deep fryer by setting the temperature control xxxx to the "MIN" position and disconnect the power plug from the mains. Wait for the fryer to cool down completely.
2. Press the lid opening button and lift the lid upwards to remove it.
3. Pour the frying fat into a suitable container.
4. Wash the lid and the frying basket with warm water and a neutral detergent. Rinse them thoroughly and wipe them dry.
5. Wipe the inner surface of the frying fat container with a slightly damp cloth. You can use a neutral detergent if needed. Rinse the container and wipe it dry.
6. Clean the surface of the heating element if any food residues accidentally got on it. Remove the heating element unit from the fryer body and wipe the surface clean.
7. Keep the contact block clean and protect it from water and other liquids.
8. If the filter needs to be replaced, press on the lock and remove the steam release grid/filter. Replace the filter and install the grid back in place.
9. Do not use metal sponges, abrasives, or solvents to clean the fryer parts. Do not immerse the fryer body, heating element unit, power cord, or plug into water or any other liquids.
10. Once all the removable parts are clean and dry, reassemble the fryer and store it in a dry, cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.
