To install the Midea DSK45Q Instant Electric Water Heater, follow these steps:
1. Check the capacity of the power circuit to ensure it is sufficient for the water heater.
2. Install the power cord by removing the screws at the bottom of the unit and lifting up the Main Switch xxxx and Power xxxx . Remove the front plate and install the power cord wire pressing plate.
3. Connect the power cord to the wiring terminals, ensuring that the neutral line (blue), live line (red/brown), and earth line (green/yellow) are correctly connected.
4. Determine the installation position of the water heater, considering the length of the power cord and the position of the air switch. The distance between the bottom of the unit and the floor should be at least 1.6m.
5. Make sure there is a distance of at least 300mm between the unit and the surrounding wall for maintenance purposes.
6. Use the four fixing screws provided to mount the unit on the wall. Ensure that the screws are driven in with a certain distance between the xxxx head and the wall.
7. Connect the plumbing by installing a water valve with a filter at the water inlet of the unit and connecting the shower flexible tube to the water outlets and shower head.
8. Choose an air switch with leakage protection and connect the water heater to the electric network, ensuring that the live line (red/brown), neutral line (blue), and earth line (yellow/green) are correctly connected.
9. After all the plumbing is finished, open the water inlet valve of the product and supply water to the unit to remove any air inside. Check for any leaks at the joints and tighten the connecting parts if necessary.
